After a short break in activities, the group has resumed in this special month of October, their perfect month. While the group celebrates a year of existence in the month that gave birth to it, it does that with these series of Spanish Language Beginners’ Classes and workshops dubbed “Jupi Literary Project”

The beginner Spanish language class which is ongoing at the Korlegonno community library is aimed at making the youth of today break away from the barriers that come with languages in their various endeavours. The 6th of October also saw the first workshop at Cambridge Junior High School at Korle Gonno in which a section of students shared in “The Jupi Dream”, changing society with creative talents. They were encouraged to guard against bad company, do everything to live long and grow up to take care of their old folks. The second is slathered for the 13th October, 2017, in the same community, at Hampstead Junior High School.

Students from Cambridge School, Accra.

One of the participants, Mugeed Atua Mohammed, a 13 year old girl in junior High School form 2, had her poem titled “In my school” chosen as the poem of the day.

In my school

The loud street

In my school

The sea blows

In my school

The birds fly

In my school

The rain falls every Friday.

The workshop finally closed with interraction, refreshment and group pictures.
