Preceding the Mental Health Campaign in October is the concert launch “Agony of a people”.

The 2019 JUPI Mental Health Project started since the beginning of the year. It is already collaborating directly with some mental health institution all in line with reducing the stigma attached to patients suffering from mind or emotional disorders. It has been involving patients professionally, training them in the creative arts. The just ended 6th Unesco World Poetry Day Commemoration was used as a platform to justify this cause.

The project is yet to commence a month campaign in october which will involve a poetry campaign, walk campaign, public interactions and workshop. It would hope to utilize the various media and organize events as well.

Before this month campaign, the concert launch would take off on the 11th of September, 2019 at the Alliance Francaise, in Accra.
