It’s hazy
accompanied by a tormenting darkness
we find the need to clear the air
hoping to see some stars
We can’t say we are tired
Hope is the reason why we are not apart
Torn limb by limb
Held by a thread of love and care
we stand
Though in darkness
they say “not less than three feet”
We need to hold our peace
sacrifice some needs for the better good
Gunned down in our dorm
we are stuck with cold feet
