Why should two people go to the hospital with different problems and one show contempt over the other? All because one’s illness has to do with mental health. If there is no humiliation about suffering from headache, cancer of the brain or migraine, then there is equally no humiliation suffering from a mental health disorder. Be bold. Feel free. Stop the stigma!

Mocking glaring stares
evident like stars in a dark sky
all coming my way
I heard my name
I could see no face
Those fingers at me pointing
Heads at each other turning
Mocking whispers and provoking laughters
when I answered the question
What is wrong with you?
I must see the psychiatrist
