Campaign Message

These are common traits of many people suffering from mental health disorders who have been abandoned by their families in Ghana and as such find themselves on the streets. Their issues are often drug related. Sufferers are without care and so their conditions have heightened. They mostly show signs of schizophrenia-never in touch with reality. They can be helped. They can be managed. They can be treated. Support the Jupi project so we can continue to help them. Mail us for more info about the project (info@jupionline.com) .

By the roadside close to the bar
behind the walls of the bar a man stood
Standing bare chested
dark like coal
wearing a woman’s underwear
He shouts and waves at women passing by
smiling at the sky with alternating laughter
He looks dirty and smelly
wearing a rugged shoe only on one foot
His toes are seen out of the shoe
While he holds a thin rolled paper with fire at the tip
